Crochet Mouse Boy Doll | Toys

I found this oh so cute little guy along with some other doll patterns that I am going to make later. It took me about 3 days to complete this working it on and off. This pattern was designed by CrochetCuteDolls at https://crochetcutedolls.etsy.com This particular pattern is not listed on the store site though; I found it on Ravelry here.
He stands about 7″ and then add 1/2 an inch for his hair.

I used Yarn Bee Soft Secret in Biscuit for his head, ears and body. Yarn Bee Soft Secret in Cognac for his whiskers and hair. Patons Metallic in Metallic Black for his shoes. For the pants and suspenders and mittens I don’t have the wrapper any more but I think it is Red Heart Soft in True Green. The eyes are made with DMC Embroidery Thread in Black and a Light Brown.

This pattern was pretty easy to follow but with the smaller parts like the shoes and mittens, it can get kind of tricky. I used a 4 mm crochet hook for the head and body and ears and a 3.5 mm hook for the shoes, legs, mittens, arms and tail. For the eyes I used a 2.5 mm crochet hook.

I really love how the  eyes are done! I also got the pattern to learn to do the eyes in different ways with different accents. I think it’s really awesome how she designed these dolls. She also has some of the Disney princesses as well!
Here he is without the whiskers and hair. :)

My husband named him last night but I cannot for the life of me remember the name lol! I would love to get some suggestions!
