Okay, this post is going to be a small one that features these super comfy slippers!
I love this pattern and it’s free! They work up really quick and they turn out so dang comfy!
They have been my best seller in my Etsy Shop!
The pattern says to use two strands of medium-weight or thick yarn. I have done them with thick yarn but I make most with just one strand of medium-weight and then reinforce the heel. (The ones I sell are with one strand and the reinforced heel.)
I typically use Red Heart Super Saver yarn, Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn, and Value Solid Yarn by Craft Smart the most but any medium-weight yarn will do.
The pattern calls for a 6.5 mm crochet hook which is what I used for the thick yarn, but I use a 6 mm crochet hook for the single strand of medium-weight yarn.
For row 3: regular width I work 6 front-post double crochet then 1 double crochet in the next stitch around; for wide width, I work 3 front-post double crochet then 1 double crochet in the next stitch around; for extra wide width, I work 2 front-post double crochet then 1 double crochet in the next stitch around.
The sizing chart in the pattern shows lengths in inches. I have made so many of these slippers that I know how many rounds to do to achieve these measurements.

For the second part of the pattern, you work 6 rows for all sizes. Then after slip stitching the back, I did 12 double crochets on the left side, 6 double crochets in the stitches across the top of the slipper, and 12 double crochets on the right side. I worked 3 rows of the front and back post double crochet for the cuff. I now work 4 rows for the cuff due to requests from family and customers.

I did a quick video showing how I reinforce the heel:
